Game 3 First Pitch By Two Diamondback Legends

In Arizona, the Diamondbacks will play their first World Series games at home since 2001.

The evening will start with a familiar touch when Hall of Famer Randy Johnson and 2001 World Series hero Luis Gonzales throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

They won all four of their World Series games at home in 2001.

The Diamondbacks beat the Yankees 38–4 over the course of these four games.

In 2023, the Diamondbacks are 3-1 so far in the playoffs.

This year, Michael Phelps and Larry Fitzgerald are two more Arizona stars who have thrown out the first pitch at Chase Field.
